Action property performs well for GMTV and Spin Master in October.

The boy’s action property, Storm Hawks claimed the number one spot on GMTV Kid’s Action Stations block with an average 85,000 viewers per day. The figures equate to 6.7 per cent of the total audience and 11 per cent of boys aged four to nine years-old.

The Storm Hawks property is licensed in the UK by Target Entertainment Group and  has five toy lines in the market place, manufactured by master toy licensee, Spin Master.

The brand remains in the top ten new properties for all toys this year according to NPD’s October data. The toy line is stocked in Argos, Toys R Us, The Entertainer, Smyths and many more.

Sam Kelly, head of licensing at Target Entertainment Group said: “We are delighted with the ongoing performance of Storm Hawks. The property is clearly proving to be a hit amongst its target age group and the boost the GMTV Kid’s block provided for Spin Master disproves the theory that a property needs terrestrial coverage to be successful at retail.”
