Romance publishing giant teams with Rugby Football Union for collection of books.
Romance publisher Mills & Boon has joined forces with the Rugby Football Union to produce a line of eight new books.
Launching on February 1st, each title in Mills & Boon's limited edition International Billionaires series features a mixture of great rugby moments, alpha-male sporting heroes and the passion and romance that are the publisher's trademark.
"Rugby has always been a game enjoyed by women - for obvious reasons," explained Jane Barron, licensing and marketing manager for the RFU. "A partnership with Mills & Boon is a fantastic way to encourage more women and their families to get involved with the game."
Clare Somerville, sales and marketing director at Mills & Boon, added: "Mills & Boon romances and rugby are an irresistible combination - from the thrill of the pursuit, to the euphoria of realising one's goals, whether romantic or sporting.
"Our partnership with the RFU should entice Mills & Boon fans into the world of rugby and vice versa."
The first title will be The Prince's Waitress Wife, with one title published each month until September 2009.
