Chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon join actor's food range.

Paul Newman is adding two new Californian wines to his Newman's Own range of food products, says Brand Republic.

Beginning in March next year, a chardonnay and a cabernet sauvignon will join the line after Newman agreed a partnership with Californian wine company Rebel Wine.

The report states that Newman said the addition of wine brought the label full circle, as the first salad dressings he sold were in old wine bottles with parchment labels.

All profits from the Newman's Own wine will go to charitable causes. The company has donated an estimated $200m since it was started in 1982.
