Over 200 industry execs head to Manchester for annual event in aid of the Light Fund.
Last Thursday night saw some 200 licensing industry executives gather for the second annual Northern Quiz Night in aid of the Light Fund - with the collective Waifs and Strays running out eventual winners.
The team - made up of Karen Addison, Nicola Lord (CPLG), Kevin Hall (The FA), Tracy Griffiths and Jo Adamson (Hit Entertainment), Sam Kelly (Target), Simon Gresswell (IMG) and Siobhan Williamson (Artisan) - clinched victory by three points (107).
Second place went to Wish We Had Google (104), while The Wooden Spooners (102) were third. Three teams shared fourth (100) place - Cupid Stunts, Radda's Ginger Swingers and The Gail Trimble Experience.
Down the other end of the table were Imports Aloud with just 72 points.
Max Arguile from GB Eye and Mr Lucky Bags' Carl Richardson kept watch over the proceedings in full Dalek costume - thanks to Christy's - while quiz master Rob Hughes (Wesco) and MC David Aykroyd controlled the microphones.
The Northern Lights organising committee would like to extend its thanks to their sponsors and to all who came and took part.
