Series hitting Nick Jr in September in UK, with two-pronged licensing programme planned.
New Mandarin-speaking pre-school show Ni Hao, Kai-Lan is due to hit Nick Jr in the UK in September, with NVCP planning a two-pronged licensed programme to back it.
The first product lines will begin to hit stores in September - corresponding with the launch of the TV show. They will be aimed at the teen/tween girl market, which Nickelodeon hopes will look at the character as a collectable lifestyle brand.
The first Ni Hao, Kai-Lan lines will launch in Urban Outfitters, with other young fashion/lifestyle retailers to follow.
Pre-school toys and products are then due to follow in autumn/winter 2010.
