New adult women's apparel collection by famous fashion stylist is inspired by Mattel's popular doll.
Mattel's Barbie has been through many guises in her long career, with her new one being the role of muse to top fashion stylist Patricia Field.
Barbie by Patricia Field is a new adult women's apparel, accessories and handbag line, all inspired by the popular doll.
The new collection, which includes sportswear, vintage-inspired dresses, signature jewellery and handbags, is available at various US stores. It is made up of two lines - Barbie Luxe by Patricia Field and Junior's Barbie Wear by Patricia Field.
"Both Barbie and Patricia Field have influenced fashion trends for decades and, together, the Barbie by Patricia Field collection merges Patricia's visionary sense of style with the Barbie brand's ability to always reflect style and cultural relevance," said Richard Dickson, senior VP of marketing, media and entertainment worldiwide at Mattel.
"The Barbie by Patricia Field collection is an unapologetically fun and stylish way for women around the world to continue their Barbie fantasy."
