Roary links with Children's Trust

Chapman character becomes official ambassador of charity for second year running.

For the second year in a row, Chapman Entertainment's Roary the Racing Car has become the official ambassador of The Children's Trust.

To kick off, Chapman and the Trust, Petrolhead Nirvana and Club Scuderia will be launching a new experience called Dad's Day Out on Saturday May 16th at Dunsfold Aerodrome, Cranleigh, the location of BBC2's Top Gear.

Dads will be able to ride in Italian supercars - provided by Petrolhead Nirvana and Club Scuderia - including Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Maseratis.

There will also be Ferrari simulators, a giant scalectric set, double decker buses, fire engine rides and a static vehicle exhibition.

"The Children's Trust is a great charity and Dad's Day Out is a fantastic family event which we are very excited to be a part of," said Melissa Brown, director of marketing at Chapman. "Roary is a great vehicle for getting kids excited about cars from an early age and there will be a lot of motoring fun and games for children and parents alike to enjoy."
