
Moda adds two more licensees to programme for 100 year-old sporting event.
Moda International Marketing has tied up a further two licensing partnerships for Le Tour de France.
Suntech Optics and DeFeet International have been granted licences by Amaury Sport Organisation, the official organiser of the 100 year-old sporting event.
DeFeet is one of the leading manufacturer's of performance athletic socks and arm coverings. It will offer Le Tour de France products from this month in the US, Canada, UK, Benelux, Australia, Japan, The Philippines and France.
Distribution will be through bike shops, sporting goods stores and online.
Meanwhile, Vancouver-based Suntech Optics is the exclusive North American eyewear supplier for the Tour de France brand. It will design a collection of cycling inspired styles to showcase the logo from next spring.
"We are excited to be working with DeFeet and Suntech Optics," said Michelle Alfandari, president of Moda International Marketing. "The Tour de France brand name will add credibility and differentiation for these product categories."
