Fox unveils Family Guy and Cleveland Show deals

Family Guy spin off debuts in Vegas; Fox looking to expand reach of animation franchises.

Among the most talked about properties at Licensing International was Family Guy spin off The Cleveland Show from 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising.

The firm used the new show alongside its popular Family Guy franchise to expand the reach of its animation roster.

Fox Licensing has signed new partner Isaac Morris to create a line of sportswear, fashion tops and outerwear which are screen-printed, embroidered and embellished. A line of men's beachwear, which will include board shorts and rash guards, will also be offered.

Fox is also continuing its partnership with American Greetings for printed cards, while Aquarius will intrdouce 2010 wall calendars. The Freakin' Sweet calendars will feature artwork inspired by the franchise.

Deals have also been signed in advance of the autumn debut of The Cleveland Show. These will see clothing lines from Changes and Briefly Stated arrive, both of which currently licence Family Guy.

Changes will introduce t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets, while Briefly Stated will debut loungewear, underwear and sleepwear.
