Danilo Promotions’ licensing director Trevor Jones is now back at his desk following a spell away from the industry due to a sudden illness.

Jones – or the Bionic Licensee has he’s been dubbed – has been out of action for five months. He told Licensing.biz that he has been overwhelmed by the amazing support from the industry.

“The response to my sudden illness was simply amazing and I wanted to thank everyone,” Jones said. “The number of cards, texts, emails, voicemails, photos, flowers, cuddly toys, chocolates, DVDs, fruit – and some ‘interesting’ adult gifts – was absolutely overwhelming.

“It was a real source of strength to me and very humbling. I will speak to everyone over the next few weeks, but I just wanted to let everyone know I’m feeling much better. I’m really pleased to say that the ‘Bionic Licensee’ is now ready for business.”
