BBC, Aardman, Nickelodeon and The Simpsons all pick up gongs for key properties.

The British Academy Children's Awards - in association with Electronic Arts - were held on Sunday November 25th at the London Hilton.

The BBC and its partners had a great night, scooping accolades for a number of properties. Cbeebies was named as Channel of the Year (presented by current James Bond actor Daniel Craig), while Charlie & Lola won Pre-School Animation and In The Night Garden picked up Pre-School Live Action.

The Secret Show, from Collingwood O'Hare, was awarded the Animation category, with its website also picking up the Interactive gong.

Happy Feet was named Feature Film, with The Simpsons Movie getting the BAFTA Kids Vote in Association with Electronic Arts.

Other key winners included Aardman - which walked away with Independent Production Company of the Year - SpongeBob Squarepants, which won the International category, and Buzz Junior: Jungle Party for PS2 from Sony, which picked up the Video Game gong.
