Hungry Rainbow grows range

New plush line based on classic children's book to be launched in the spring.
Rainbow Designs is to roll out a new collection of plush toys based on classic children's book The Very Hungry Caterpillar in the New Year.
This will be the first time that the characters from the novel have been bought to life since they first appeared in 1969.
In the spring, Rainbow will launch an assortment of items including large caterpillar plush toy (£14.99) and a caterpillar nine-inch beanie (£7.99). There will also be caterpillar and butterfly hand puppets (£12.99 each).
Finger puppets (£4.99) and a plush pen in a tub pot (£3.99) will also be available.
A copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar is sold every 20 seconds, according to Rainbow.
