Character appears at gardening event to encourage kids to get into gardening and enjoy the great outdoors.
The Fifi and the Flowertots Zone gave children the opportunity to organise a shopping list and collect all the right fruit and vegetables from Poppy’s Market Stall.
Visitors could also plant their own Forget-me-not seeds and decorate flower pots to take away with them using Fifi stickers. Once the activities were finished, children could meet Fifi and have photos with her in the garden area.
Audiences at the show experienced gardening at its best, taking in ideas on how to grow vegetables and flowers, enjoy healthy outdoor living and much more. Children under the age of 16 years went free when accompanied by an adult.
Greg Lynn, managing director of Chapman Entertainment commented: “We were really excited to be at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. Bringing gardening into the lives of children is extremely important to the RHS and Chapman Entertainment.
“It is a natural fit to have a Fifi and the Flowertots Zone at an event with a focus on educational and fun gardening elements for children.”
