Speedshow, at the ASB showgrounds, Auckland will feature a new children’s area Speedshow 4 Kids this year, including the Roary Pit Zone.

The branded area will be complete with games, Roary car races, competitions, prizes, a photo zone with Roary and Big Chris, and interactive Roary concerts on both days of the show.

Speedshow organiser Keith Sharp said: “We’re delighted to welcome Roary the Racing Car to Speedshow 4 Kids in his first official New Zealand appearance.

"Roary and his mechanic Big Chris are the stars of the hugely popular animated kids show narrated by racing legend Sir Stirling Moss. Their visit to Speedshow will be a huge draw-card for smaller children and their parents.”

Roary the Racing Car is having great success in New Zealand. The television series screens on TV2 at 6.50am each Saturday.
