Bang on the Door character to feature on the famous conveyor belt on classic quiz show.

As part of Bang on the Door's 21st anniversary celebrations this year, the brand will be supplying product for The Generation Game, appearing in this Thursday's show.

Now called Brucie's Generation Game, the Bang on the Door Fairy Girl typewriter by Top Banana will be featuring on the conveyor belt on the show aired on Thursday November 29th at 9pm on UKTV Gold.

As part of UKTV Gold's £10m new programming strategy, The Generation Game is filmed in front of a live studio audience evert Thursday, but will also feature archive footage from when it first aired on the BBC in 1971.

"There continues to be a strong trend towards retro and vintage brands, and with revivals such as the family game show Brucie's Generation Game and kids classics like The Magic Roundabout, it signals an ever-increasing appeal for heritage brands to be injected with a fresh outlook to attract a whole new generation of young fans," said Geraint Lloyd Evans, commercial director at Bang on the Door.

"Bang on the Door has many loyal fans and now as parents they can trust the brand for their children with products featuring designs that are regularly refreshed to keep up to date with the market and the next generation's trends."
