Global teamwear brand Champion System - which provides a number of sports teams from cycling and triathlon clubs to motorsport and rugby teams - has appointed Maxgear has its exclusive new distributor in the UK.

Maxgear has already made an impact in the UK bike market with its range of high performance cycling products, which are endorsed by a number of professional teams.

To attract new business in the UK, Champion System is planning to provide a free design service to all UK clubs - using the skills of designers who have created products for Coca Cola and Reebok, as well as the Umbro kits for teams including Manchester United and England.

The firm also says that it will have orders ready for dispatch within six to eight weeks of the artwork approval date.

Champion System has most recently designed and supplied the winners' jerseys for the three-day Junior Tour of Wales, taking place at the end of this month.
