Jetix greenlights new animation

First season of Jimmy Two Shoes to be co-produced by Jetix Europe and Canadian firm.
Jetix Europe has revealed its latest commission, animated comedy series Jimmy Two Shoes from Canada's Breakthrough Animation.
The firm will co-produce the first season in close collaboration with Toronto-based animation studio Breakthrough and fellow kids broadcaster Teletoon Canada.
Jimmy Two Shoes is due to air across Jetix channels in early 2009, with Jetix Europe holding TV distribution rights for the 26x30-minute series across Europe and the Middle East.
This includes Pay TV and free TV distribution, as well as home video and consumer product rights.
Disney ABC International Television will service the distribution of the TV rights on behalf of Jetix Europe.
Marc Buhaj, senior VP of programming at Jetix Europe, said: "We are delighted to be part of the Jimmy Two Shoes adventure. This show is going to be a great addition to the Jetix portfolio."
