Following a deal with BBC Worldwide, BBC Children's Books will publish a range of ZingZillas titles in August 2010 to coincide with the launch of the new pre-school show on Cbeebies.

ZingZillas is a new musical show produced in-house by the Cbeebies production team for the BBC. The 52x22-minute show is in production at Pinewood until December.

BBC Children's Books will publish a wide range of titles including a sound book, activity and story books.

"ZingZillas is a refreshingly new pre-school programme with bags of energy that provides us with a fantastic opportunity to develop a publishing programme based on established formats that parents trust, as well as some exciting sound and action-based new formats," said Juliet Matthews, BBC Children's Books publisher.

"We expect ZingZillas to play a significant part in our 2010 pre-school list."
