KidScreen award nominees revealed

Sesame Workshop, BBC, Kindle, Nerd Corps, Mattel and TV-L among others up for gongs.

Kids entertainment magazine, KidScreen has unveiled those companies up for accolades at its inaugural awards.

The event is due to take place at the KidScreen Summit on Thursday February 12th 2010 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Hilton New York.

There are 16 categories, with the final round of judging currently underway.

Just some of the firms up for gongs include Sesame Workshop for Bert & Ernie and Abby in Wonderland; Moonscoop for Dive Olly Dive and Chloe's Closet; Anchor Bay for Wow Wow Wubbzy; Kindle Entertainment for Big & Small Online and Dustbin Baby; Nerd Corps for League of Super Evil; BBC for Newsround and Grandpa In My Pocket; TV-Loonland for My Life Me; Nelvana for Di-Gata Defenders; The Foundation for Escape from Scorpion Island; and Wildbrain for Yo Gabba Gabba.
