
Games based on animated properties to bolster THQ's kids, family and casual line-up.
A number of video games are set to roll out for Dreamworks' upcoming animated feature films, following a multi-year licensing deal between the firm and THQ.
THQ will roll out games based on Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom and Puss in Boots, plus CG TV animation The Penguins of Madagascar on a variety of formats.
"We are pleased to expand our relationship with THQ and continue to be impressed by their focus on the kids and family video game business," said Kerry Phelan, head of worldwide consumer products for Dreamworks Animation.
Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom is due to be released from THQ on June 3rd 2011, followed by Puss in Boots on November 4th 2011.
In addition, THQ is also publishing video games based on MegaMind from November 2010.
