Thumb Wrestling Federation to feature two new British characters in latest series.

Thumb Wrestling Federation will be returning for a fifth season in 2010.

Currently in pre-production, the show will feature two new British wrestlers - Cleat Cunningham on the Mighty Dextera side, and The Black Knight on the Sinistra side.

The new series is also sure to give the licensing drive another boost. Bulldog has built up a comprehensive programme which includes Danilo (greetings cards), Aykroyds TDP (apparel), Panini (sticker books), Pyramid (posters) and Roy Lowe & Sons (socks, gloves, hats and scarves). In addition, Sambro is on board for TWF masks and wrestling rings, while Random House is producing a 96-page 'thumb' book.

"TWF is already massive and the news that season five is coming will cause huge levels of excitement in thumb wrestling circles across the country," said Bulldog MD, Rob Corney.

Why are there three thumbs if there are there only two wrestlers.

The two on the left are British, the other one is Irish. They are, from left to right: Cleat Cunningham, The Black Knight, and Lucky O'Leary.
