Peanuts gives to charity

CPLG Germany and licensing partners raise 100,000 Euros for Ein Herz für Kinder.

As part of the 60th anniversary celebrations for United Media property Peanuts, CPLG Germany and its licensing partners have raised 100,000 Euros for aid organisation Ein Herz für Kinder.

The cheque was presented at the annual TV Charity Gala on December 12th.

"This extraordinary event underlines the exceptional nature of this anniversary and the joint commitment of all business partners," said Gerold Kolenbrander, MD of CPLG Germany. "BILD hilft e.V Ein Herz für Kinder is an aid organisation focusing on children and Peanuts stands for an authentic childhood. By this cooperation we want to say an honest thank you for the successes that were achieved with Peanuts and let children in need take part."

A range of 60th anniversary celebrations are planned to run throughout 2010.

For example, Snoopy will be visiting hospitals, hospices and nurseries supported by Ein Herz für Kinder during the year, while a benefit concert is also due to take place.
