Sixth office expands trade association's worldwide presence.

As part of its remit to promote the global growth of the licensing industry, trade body LIMA has opened up its sixth international office, this time in Hong Kong.

Tani Wong (pictured) has been appointed managing director of the new operation. She joins from Warner Bros where she held the role of sales director for Greater China, South East Asia and India.

Wong has over 12 years of experience working in the licensing business.

"LIMA's Hong Kong office will be a resource to our worldwide membership for information on the growing South East Asia licensing market, serve as a source of education on licensing for the South East Asian business community and broaden the network of potential business partners and opportunities for LIMA members worldwide," explained president Charles Riotto.

"The opening of our Hong Kong office is an important step in our strategic initiative to enhance member services and promote growth and professionalism in the ever-evolving business of licensing."
