KidsCo strikes deal with Rubies

Children's channel secures international advertising deal with costume specialist.

Ambitious children's channel KidsCo has agreed an international advertising deal with costume, toy and accessories firm Rubies Masquerade.

The new deal comprises on-air activities on KidsCo in France, Germany, Spain and Portugal. Eight 30-second spot ads per day will run during peak times until February 14th.

Robert MacKenzie, sales director of KidsCo, said: "KidsCo is committed to providing kids content that engages and stimulates them while they have fun. Programming like The Wiggles and Jass Time perfectly reflects Rubies Masquerade as an outlet that encourages children and grown-ups alike to use their imaginations and enjoy themselves."

KidsCo is jointly owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Entertainment and Corus Entertainment.
