BKN notches up new deals

Agreements signed for a number of key titles; firm exhibiting at NATPE later this month.

After something of a tough year in 2009, execs at BKN New Media say the firm has got off to a positive start in 2010, signing a number of deals for its properties and confident its appearance at NATPE this month will lead to more.

New partnerships have been signed with Czech and Slovak distributor Vapet Production and Turkish company ANC, while BKN's Spanish office is continuing its relationship with Comarex (Mexico and Central America) and SWEN International (Latin America and Brazil).

BKN is also on track to deliver the second series of Zorro Generation Z, as well as its new concept Joshua Blake: The Agency.

Nicola Andrews, MD of the London arm of BKN, said: "After a tough year in 2009, we are happy with this start in 2010. We own a quality catalogue and continue to deliver high quality, high definition animation to young audiences around the globe."
