Firm secures deal with gift, home and garden décor specialist Enesco to build brand.
The VeggieTales brand from Big Idea is set to move into a number of new categories after the firm confirmed a deal with Enesco to develop and distribute a selection of products.
Enesco boasts the Gund plush division, as well as the Gregg Gift division, which is one of the US' leading producers of 'faith-based' gifts, home décor and accessories.
"Enesco has a commitment to quality and innovation that is closely aligned with the enduring values and wholesome entertainment of Big Idea and our VeggieTales series," commented the firm's general manager, Leslie Ferrell. "We are excited to reach consumers through Enesco's broad mix of retail channels, and to share the VeggieTales messages through new products that have proven appeal to children and families."
Jane Charette, general manager of the Gregg Gift division, added: "We look forward to offering new VeggieTales products with our growing audience of retailers and consumers."
