Dutch home textiles licensee Van Es will be launching two new bed and bath ranges for The Smiley Company at this week's Hemitex show in Frankfurt.

The first range is for Smiley's Happy Collection and includes the brand's original Smiley logo in a signature palette of yellow, black and white, as well as an eco range which draws inspiration from Smiley's hippy roots. This is reflected in earthy and neutral tones.

The Smiley range will include cushions, duvet sets, towels and bathrobes.

Meanwhile, the Smiley World brand will welcome a host of themes and trends including Colour Therapy and Russian Dolls on duvets, fleeces, floor cushions and decorative cushions.

Nicolas Loufrani, CEO of The Smiley Company, said: "We are very proud to be launching with Van Es a collection of home textiles using organic cotton."

Both collecions will launch in stores in April throughout the UK and Europe.

Hemitex runs from January 13th to 16th.
