Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has signed one of its first licensing deals for Spongebob Squarepants in the Czech Republic.

The two-year multi-territory deal with Prague-based Cartoon Mania will see the firm produce branded nightwear, underwear, t-shirts and accessories.

Meanwhile, in a deal between NVCP and Schwager und Steinlein Verlag, Spongebob Squarepants sticker books have just launched into the Austrian, German and Swiss markets. The three-year deal will include two sticker books, two rainbow colouring books and three riddle books.

In Italy, foil balloon maker Grabo has produced Spongebob Squarepants balloons. The products are available across Italy, San Marion and the Vatican State.

Finally, Spongebob Squarepants Top Trumps sets will launch in the UK, following a new two-year deal with Winning Moves.
