Former account manager Sandra McDonnell has been promoted to sales and design manager at textile special Cooneen.

McDonnell has been with the company since 2005, working with retailers including Mothercare, Bhs, Sainsbury's and Dunnes Store in Ireland.

Cooneen director Mike Coles explained to Licensing.biz that the firm has grown significantly over the last two years. To sustain this growth, a restructure was necessary, meaning a position for a senior manager was created, managing the sales and design teams on a daily basis.

McDonnell will report to Coles and production manager for the division, Carol Cundiff.
