Toy company lining up range of wheeled toys for Disney pre-school property.
Hot on the heels of its deal with Disney for Winnie the Pooh, toy company HTI (Halsall Toys International) is to launch a line of wheeled toys for Handy Manny in the UK and Eire.
The firm will be developing its range in time for an autumn/winter 2010 launch.
The new products will include a ten-inch Handy Manny bike, with an opening tool box at the rear, plus a character front plaque, EVA tyres, mud guards and stabilisers.
Also in development is a Handy Manny Trike with removable parent handle, while there is also a three wheel scooter with front storage bucket, Quad Skates, Helmet and Protection Gear.
"We are delighted to secure this licence deal with Handy Manny, which is fast becoming another hot pre-school property from Disney Consumer Products," said Andrew Coplestone, HTI licensing director. "HTI is a leading manufacturer of wheeled toys and we are confident that, with our competence and expertise in this category, we can develop a range of Handy Manny wheeled toys with that all important Disney difference."
