Sambro teams with WBCP

Three-year deal signed for pocket money and novelty toys.

Warner Bros Consumer Products has secured a three-year deal with Sambro International which will see the firm rolling out a range of Scooby-Doo, Batman and Tom & Jerry branded pocket money and novelty toys.

The range, which will include yo-yos, spinning toys, whoopee cushions, basketball sets, paddle bats, bouncing playballs, frisbees, air rockets, fingerboards and bowling sets will be released under Sambro's New World Toys branding.

The line will roll out from May, with prices ranging from 50 pence to £4.99.

"We are thrilled to be working with WBCP on this range of affordable toys based upon these truly iconic licences, and we are confident that these products will generate huge interest at both trade and consumer level," said Nikki Samuels, international director at Sambro.
