Agency is appointed to represent Madeleine Floyd.
DRi Licensing now represents the artist who is widely commissioned around the world. One of Floyd’s signature designs, Birdsong, has already enjoyed success on the High Street and continues to be promoted by the National Trust stores.
An array of products include kitchen textiles from Ulster Weavers, mugs from McLaggan Smith, a calendar from Jarrolds and place mats and coasters from Castle Melamine.
Extension plans are underway for the licensing programme, which includes further opportunities for Birdsong in addition to Floyd’s many other designs. Newly licensed for launch at Spring Fair is Hudson and Middleton English Fine Bone China for a Birdsong breakfast set and a range of mugs featuring favourite Animal Friends.
Alicia Davenport, DRi’s licensing director said: “Madeleine’s illustrations are elegant, timeless and engaging and we are delighted to now be representing this exciting British artist.
“It is wonderful to be starting 2010 with a new and exciting licensee on board. We are looking forward to taking this property forward and to developing Madeleine Floyd’s art onto a wide range of product areas.”
Madeleine Floyd joins the host of top properties currently featured in DRi’s licensing portfolio including Miffy, Caroline Gardner, Boofle, Guess How Much I Love You, Edward Monkton, Bobbypin and The World of Roald Dahl.
