Licensing exec to become Madonna in new BBC talent search.
Evelyne Brinks, licensing executive at Coolabi, has passed a series of auditions to take part in the finals of new BBC prime time talent show The One and Only.
Featuring the cream of tribute act talent, the show will look to crown the UK’s best tribute act, with the performers having to not only sing like a superstar, but look, dress and act like them, too. Brinks has been chosen to be Madonna.
Auditions have taken place throughout the UK, with hopefuls attempting to win a place in the Superfan Singoff, where they then had to impress the superfans of their idols. Just ten tribute acts have made it through to the live shows, which will be hosted by Graham Norton. An introductory show airs on Saturday (January 5th) at 7.20pm on BBC1, with the competition proper beginning on January 12th.
The prize is a three-month contract to perform in Las Vegas.

“Rock on!”

Well done to Evelyne. As someone who is normally so helpful and cooperative in her business affairs it must take some real acting to mimic well a typically self-obsessed pop star like Madonna. Rock on!
