All 47 members of the licensing industry bobsleigh team are back in the UK and nursing their bruises today, having raised £30,000 for The Light Fund.

The Advanstar-sponsored event took place earlier this week at Igls near Innsbruck, with the team launching themselves down a full-size Olympic bobsleigh track, reaching speeds of up to 90mph and experiencing up to five times the force of gravity on some bends.

"We've returned after three days of being bruised, battered and scared witless, but everyone had a great time and, most importantly, we have raised a fantastic amount of money for The Light Fund," said event organiser Stephen Gould. "£30,000 is far more than we could have hoped for and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and all the other members of the industry who sponsored and supported us."
