King of deals for 4Kids

Firm inks new deals for fantasy adventure series in the UK and Europe.
4Kids Entertainment has secured a number of deals in the UK and Europe for animated show Dinosaur King.
According to C21 Media, Italy’s Mediaset, Germany’s RTL2, France 3 and Canal J in France, plus Jetix in the UK, Scandinavia and Spain have all picked up the series for the 2008/09 seasons. In addition, 4Kids is expecting further sales in Australia, Latin America and Canada later this month.
Dinosaur King is aimed at six to 11 year-olds and follows the D Team – Max, Rex and Zoe – who race around the world to uncover secrets that bring dinosaurs back to life. The show debuted last September in the US.
