Wide Eye grows distribution

Abbey Home Media secures new international deals for popular pre-school show.
Wide Eye, the pre-school series from Abbey Home Media, is extending its international reach after the firm scored a number of new distribution deals.
Airing on CBBC and Cbeebies in the UK, the DVD will now be available across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Russia.
Abbey will be working with Mondo Entertainment Germany on the distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while Masterdisc Russia will push it in Russia and the Russian Federation Markets.
Co-produced by the BBC and AHMG, the series is made by BAFTA awarding winning King Rollo Films and features the voice talents of Jane Horrocks and Anton Rodgers.
"Wide Eye has become a big hit with the pre-school market in the UK through its strong programming and DVD distribution," said Ian and Anne Miles, founders of Abbey Home Media Group.
