Hit Entertainment has signed up agent Biplano to handle the Thomas & Friends brand across Spain and Portugal.

Biplano has already begun work in the Iberian Peninsula, and is now working to develop a complete licensing and promotional programme for the top boys' pre-school brand.

"We are looking forward to working with Biplano to expand the brand presence of Thomas & Friends in Spain and Portugal," said Jon Owen, SVP consumer products at Hit. "We are sure Thomas will soon have plenty of new fans in this important market."
