Firm secures two new deals with broadcasters NRK and SVT for kids' live-action shows Tricky TV and Trapped.
RDF Rights has licensed its kid’s magic show Tricky TV (23x30’) to the Norwegian broadcaster NRK.
Tricky TV, produced by the Foundation, has already been picked up by a number of broadcasters in several territories to date including MBC (Middle East), Teletoon (France), Super RTL (Germany), Disney Japan, Nick India, Mediacorp in Singapore for Okto Channel and Cartoon Network in Korea, South East Asia, Australia, the Philippines and New Zealand.
Tricky TV is presented by Stephen Mulhern and showcases magic tricks. A third series is currently in production, following the recent announcement that CITV (UK) has commissioned the Foundation to produce a further 20x30’ episodes.
RDF Rights owns all rights to Tricky TV.
In Sweden, the firm has inked a deal with SVT for its tween drama series, Trapped (52x30’). RDF Rights acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the series , from Northway Productions Pty in March 2009.
Commissioned by Channel 7 Australia, Trapped is the story of ordinary kids thrust into an extraordinary situation.
