FME scores apparel and novelty toy deals for new season of hit show format.
The British version may have just returned to our TV screens, but FremantleMedia Enterprises has been busy securing deals for the newest version of the hit Got Talent show format - this time in the Philippines.
Apparel company Emerald Garment Manufacturing has developed a limited edition range of Pilipinas Got Talent shirts and jackets, available from RRJ boutiques nationwide.
In addition to this, RRJ has also got its own promotional licence which involves dressing the store with branded PGT signage and an ongoing in-store raffle promotion. Every purchase made in-store over a certain price entitles the customer to a raffle coupon, with prizes including VIP seats to the finals of the show, taking place in June.
Elsewhere, Playkit Philippines will be producing a collection of PGT novelty toys. This will include musical instruments such as flutes, maracas, cymbals, tambourines and guitars, as well as a series of role playing costume accessories.
"The ratings for PGT have been phenomenal up to now and it's only natural for the licensing programme to be just as strong given the show's success," explained Amrita Sindhu, SVP of licensing and interactive Asia, FME.
PGT premiered in February on ABS-CBN, with the first episode grabbing an audience share of 38.7 per cent.
