TLC makes German move

Brand agency takes its tally of global offices to five with new Munich opening.
TLC has partnered with Munich-based MR Merchandising and Retail to form TLC Germany, according to Total Licensing.
This means that the company now has five global offices: London, New York, Paris, Tokyo and Germany.
MR Merchandising and Retail was set up in 1997 by Marlies Rasl and is one of the leading licensing agencies in German. It is the exclusive agent for the likes of New Line Cinema, Lucas Film, Sony Pictures and MGA.
TLC is now planning to launch a Brand division to extend its representation of its key brand clients by March. A recruitment drive is currently underway.
"We are excited to be joining forces with TLC as this has many benefits for our clients and licensees," said Rasl, MD of TLC Germany. "Our expertise and experience in Germany makes us a strong partner for TLC."
