Bon Bon Buddies has acquired the business and assets of chocolate and confectionery firm Dovedale from administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers for an undisclosed sum.

BBB's new subsidiary, BBB Dovedale, will focus on growing the firm's trade customer base, as well as expanding production at its Derbyshire facilities to include some of the BBB chocolate product categories.

It will further invest in Dovedale to offer a quality UK production source and a credible alternative to both other UK and non-UK based co-manufacturers.

BBB has also recently acquired licensed confectionery toy and gift product firm TeePee Creative, plus premium chocolate gift brand Kshocolat.
