Cosgrove Hall shuffles its pack

Animation outfit makes several changes to operational structure.
Cosgrove Hall Films has restructured its operations, making a number of promotions and creating two new posts.
Laura Duncalf has been promoted from her role as the firm's production manager to head of production. She will now take on responsibility for all of Cosgrove Hall's production activity and will report to MD Anthony Utley.
The firm has also created the post of research and development assistant, charged with supporting the senior team. It is currently recruiting for this role, according to Worldscreen.
Meanwhile, working alongside Duncalf and Utley in managing roles are Franc Vose, creative director, and Lee Marriott, financial and commercial director.
"We recognise that as the UK animation industry faces increasingly competitive and challenging market conditions, Cosgrove Hall has to be certain its structure is sufficiently robust and prepared to face these challenges," explained Utley.
"We believe that by streamlining our business, Cosgrove Hall is well positioned to further capitalise on its position as a leading global animation studio, producing both third party and our own intellectual properties."
