Jump Games arrives, revealing a deal with Manchester United in the process.

A new mobile games publisher has arrived in Europe, revealing it has an exclusive global deal to design, develop and distribute mobile games with Manchester United.

Jump Games - part of Reliance Entertainment - revealed itself as the 'official mobile games partner of Manchester United' yesterday with a special press conference in London. This included a video message from Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson saying he was delighted with the new arrangement.

A total of six Manchester United mobile games will be developed this year. The first to be released will be Manchester United Word It.

The title will be priced between three and five Euros and around £3.

"We're pleased to be moving into a new phase for the business at a time when so much interest is focused on the mobile platform and its development beyond voice revenues," said Salil Bhargava, CEO at Jump Games.

"Our association with Manchester United is the ideal platform for us to further strengthen our offerings and reach out to a much larger set of audiences worldwide."

The company is due to reveal further IP partnerships throughout the year.
