New master toy helps Chapman Entertainment property get off the ground in region.
Popular pre-school property Fifi and the Flowertots is making inroads into the Canadian market, with its US agent Hit revealing a number of deals.
Danawares has signed up as the master toy licensee for Canada, says Playthings. In a multi-year deal, Danawares will develop, manufacture and market a full line of products, expected to hit retail in the autumn.
Categories are likely to include playsets, plush, puzzles, games and role-play.
In addition, One of the Boys will take on apparel, including sportswear, shirts, sweatshirts and sweaters.
Fifi will begin airing on Canada's Treehouse network five days a week from February 25th. It debuted in the US last week on PBS Kids Sprout.
