Licensing.biz invites you to share your thoughts on this Friday's topic.
Next week sees the kick off of the UK Toy Fair at ExCeL in London's Docklands. This will be closely followed by Nurnburg Toy Fair, Spring Fair in Birmingham and the American International Toy Fair in New York.
And, of course, we've already had Hong Kong Toys and Games and Paris Toy Fair.
Licensing.biz wants to know which show you believe is the most important to your business. Do you send representatives from your company to each one, or just choose to attend the largest?
How much business is actually done at these events - or is the sole purpose of attending simply a networking one?

Toy fairs are key fairs for us to attend with a strong team as toys for many of our brands are part of the key drivers i.e. if it doesnt work the rest of the licensing program can be very hard to get to work out.
We are present at all key toy fairs this Spring i.e. Hong Kong, London, Nurnberg and New York.
I agree with Morten that attending the toy fairs is key. With many brands, the toy licensees are some of the first that we look for and can be instrumental to putting together the rest of the programme.
However, if someone could tell me why they all have to be within weeks of each other, and not spread more evenly throughout the year, that would be appreciated!
Attending toy fairs in general is a great way of keeping up to date with key firms, viewing what's to come on the toy market and also a key opportunity to seek out the smaller companies and new licensing opportunities.
