Underground Toys has grown its portfolio further, adding action comedy film Scott Pilgrim vs the World to its stable, following a deal with Universal Partnerships & Licensing.

The movie - which opens in the UK on August 25th - is based on a series of graphic novels by Bryan Lee O'Malley.

Underground's deal covers both the US and UK markets.

In the UK, the firm will be producing mugs, key chains, talking key chains, talking pens, bags, t-shirts and other gift categories. Meanwhile, in the US it will produce mugs, key chains and talking key chains.

The licence joins others including Family Guy, Star Wars, Avatar, Doctor Who, Clone Wars and Star Trek among others.
