50 stones on a bike: And they're off...

165 mile charity cycling challenge begins today. And you can follow their route.

If you've been following their training diary on Licensing.biz, you'll know that the boys from Roy Lowe & Sons have had a pretty tough time getting the hang of their Trisockyle - however, today sees them embark on their 165 mile challenge, in aid of The Light Fund.

Kicking off in Nottinghamshire - at The Sock Mine - Martin Lowe, Richard Radford and Dean Greasley will attempt to make the journey to the Licensing Awards on September 9th at the Lancaster London on their specially made bicycle.

And they've kindly supplied us with their proposed route, so that anyone who's interested can drive out and offer support - or abuse. Luckily, the good old British weather is on their side... err... maybe not, apparently showers and South Easterly winds are forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Anyway, here's where they're planning to be - only Radda has asked us to stress that it's only provisional as they're bound to get lost.
