The countdown to the MCV Awards 2010 has begun – with date, venue and categories announced.

Footfall was up nine per cent for this year's event at the Birmingham NEC.
This year's Autumn Fair saw visitor numbers rise to 31,340, up nine per cent on 2009.
The figures mark the highest attendance to the show since 2006 and builds on the success of Autumn Fair 2009 and Spring Fair 2010, which both saw an upswing in visitor numbers.
