The WotWots switch on to LG

Weta pre-school property to be showcased on TVs in retail stores globally following deal.

Children's animation The WotWots has landed a global deal with leading television brand, LG.

Until August 31st 2011, footage from the Weta Workshop series will be shown on LG TVs in LG Global retail stores, as well as at the IFA and CES consumer electronics shows.

"We are delighted LG has chosen the WotWots to be showcased on their televisions in-store and at IFA and CES," said Richard Taylor, co-founder of Weta Workshop. "The brand continues to go from strength to strength, with new territories adding the WotWots to their programming line-up as well as great ratings success in Australia, New Zealand and Canada."

The show first launched in New Zealand and Australia in 2009, Canada in February 2010 and will launch in the US on The Hub in October.
