US: Mrs Fields cooks up a success

Premium cookie firm ties licensing deal with Global Icons.
Mrs Fields, the famous cookie company, has secured a deal with Global Icons, the licensing and brand merchandising agency which specialises in the development and extension of corporate brands and trademarks.
The company will now to look to move Mrs Fields into such areas as kitchen domestics, bakeware, housewares, small kitchen electrics, publishing, party goods, kids food play activities and toys in the US.
"Mrs Fields has an unyielding quality and appeal that makes the brand Amercia's favourite indulgent snack," said Jeff Lotman, CEO of Global Icons. "Customers fall in love with the rich flavour and 'just like Mom makes' personal touch and now we will offer them extensions of the Mrs Fields original dream."
